Research Interests

I am interested in big-data statistical analysis and computation in diverse areas, such as biomedical data science (e.g., genetics/genomics, imaging, neurological/neuropsychiatric disorders, and mental health), environmental science (e.g., spatial epidemiology and global warming), and social science (e.g., socioeconomics and behavioral genetics).

Mostly motivated by real-world problems, I am passionate about developing statistical methodologies and theories that produce better estimates and inferences for high-dimensional data, transfer learning, mediation analysis, data integration, statistical computing, and confounder adjustment.
